Come and join us on the trip of your lifetime. Your adventure begins with a 30km cruise across the crystal clear waters of the beautiful Lake Manapouri. With its many islands, sandy beaches, coves and bays surrounded by bush clad mountains it really is a magical start to your journey.
On your arrival at West Arm you will spend some time at the Department of Conservation Visitor Centre, viewing the information displays provided before boarding our coach for the 2km journey underground. This is down through the access tunnel that leads to the machine hall of the amazing Manapouri Power Station. While here you will spend some time viewing displays and the power station itself before boarding our coach again for the spectacular 22km journey across the Wilmot Pass road to Deep cove, Doubtful Sound.
At Deep Cove you will board our spacious and well appointed vessel the Tasman Explorer, from here you will spend the next 3-4 hours exploring the awe inspiring beauty of Doubtful Sound. Surrounded by rugged mountains covered in dense sub tropical rain forest and waterfalls streaming down their sides. It is like no where else in the world and it is an experience you will treasure.
Wildlife is often sighted during the cruise through this remote part of Fiordland, a World heritage area.
