Food & Drink

You can either pre-order a delicious picnic lunch at just $20 per person or if you wish

you can bring your own. In the Picnic Lunch is a Sandwich, croissant, cake, fruit, cheese

and crackers, biscuits, juice box and after dinner mints. We also cater for any dietary requirements.

 

We do provide complimentry tea, coffee, milo and biscuits

on board our vessel in Doubtful Sound. We have no food sales or cash registers on

our vessels.

Pick up or Self Drive

We offer a FREE pick-up and return service from your accommodation in Te Anau or

Manapouri. However If you wish to drive yourself there is parking available out front

of our Visitor Centre/Office (see contact us for address).

 

Cancellation Policy

If for any reason you need to cancel or amend a reservation, you must do so 24 hours

prior to the departure of your trip and a full refund will be given.

 

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the departure of you trip, no refund will be given.

 

Frequently asked Questions

Am I Likely to get Sea Sick?

This is highly unlikely. We have been operating our cruise for over 10 years with only 4 people sick in that time.

 

Am I able to bring alcohol on the Cruise?

You may bring a wine or a beer to have with your lunch as long as you don't over indulge.

 

Where would you suggest we stay?

We recommend that you stay in either Manapouri or Te Anau the night before your trip. We provide a free pick-up service from your accommodation in Te Anau or Manapouri. However self

driving is absolutely fine, Te Anau is 19kms from Manapouri, approximately 20minutes drive.

 

What are the traveling times From Queenstown or Invercargill by car to Manapouri?

Queenstown is 172kms from Manapouri, you need to allow yourself at least 2.5 hours.

Invercargill is 158kms from Manapouri, you need to allow yourself at least 2 hours.
